Taking Screenshots in the Azure Virtual Lab
Step 1: Open Screenshot tool Press Windows Key + Shift + S to open the screenshot tool. By default, it will allow you to select a rectangular section of the screen, but you can also choose Freeform Clip, Window Clip, or Fullscreen Clip from the menu at the top of the screen (see screenshot below). Step 2: Paste Screenshot The screenshot will be copied to your clipboard, and you can then paste it (either with Ctl+V or right-click+Paste) into your preferred image application (like a Word document or PowerPoint). Note that if you connected the virtual computer lab from a Windows machine, the clipboard will be shared between the remote computer and local machine, so you can copy screenshots from Azure to your local machine directly. COE Tech has not tested this shared clipboard functionality with Macs connected to Azure. Bonus: SolidWorks Screenshots If you need to take a screenshot in SolidWorks, you can hover your mouse over the SolidWorks logo and go to View > Screen Capture > Image Capture. This will copy a high-resolution image to your clipboard.
